EPW - Maniglier a Genève, very unusual early keyless-winding cylinder, 42mm, 18K gold OF original case, gold cuvette marked "Examined by Hunt & Roskell, late Storr, Mortimer & Hunt, 156 New Bond St, London," engine turned and engraved gilt dial with seconds-register at 3, wound via lifting the button on the pendant, KS, cylinder escapement, 6J, s#3813 within case. CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered fine and micro-fine scratches with greatest profusion to central portion of center bridge, steelwork with some oxide in areas; dial with some fine and micro-fine scratches; fine hands with some finish loss in areas; case shows medium wear, many scratches to cuvette, numerous scattered dings or shallow dents to rear, some dings to cuvette, largely reduced engine turning detail with full loss to shoulder, cuvette engraving detail reduced; tight bow thinned at top, button shows medium to ample wear; good glass crystal.
